Meet Mayor Michael Vargas
As the Mayor of Perris, Michael Vargas is dedicated to serving residents and bringing positive change to our city.
His top priorities are public safety and building our local economy. Every resident deserves to live in a safe neighborhood and have the opportunity to thrive. Mayor Vargas has an open-door policy because he wants to hear your concerns and address your needs.
Before he was elected to serve as Mayor, Michael served on the Val Verde School District Board of Education where he successfully fought for equality and transparency. He hired more teachers and advocated for student safety and success.
As a husband, father, grandfather and proud resident of Perris, Michael is committed to the success of our city. He is working tirelessly to make Perris a better place to live, work, play, and raise a family.
